This qualification is required when applying for an Operator’s Licence for either Freight or Passenger operations .
To demonstrate professional competence, candidates must sit formal examinations with OCR and successfully complete case studies as part of the examination process.
From 1st January 2012 the syllabus has changed and previous national and international exams have been merged into a single certificate which now covers any operator licence requirements.
Operator CPC Training
Previous to the new regulations, separate modules were available for national and international exams, any subsequent failures of individual modules were able to be taken for re-examinations, this has now changed and if you are unsuccessful in the subjects for any reason, you will have to re sit the examinations in their entirety.
Training courses for all modules Freight or Passenger, are available, these are regularly held at our training centres.
Examinations are held four times a year, normally March, June, September and December, this is standard throughout the country and exams are only held on these dates.
Driver Training Centre is an accredited Oxford, Cambridge and RSA (OCR) examination centre and welcome external students for examinations as well as our own, subject to availability.
