First aid is the immediate temporary care for the ill and injured, in this interactive 6 hour course you will learn how to deal with and treat causalities by preserving life, preventing worsening and promoting recovery.

You will gain the confidence to deal with emergency situations safely and systematically. These tools can be used in everyday situations to help save people’s lives.

This is a 6 hour contact course (1 day)

The course content includes:

  • Unconscious Casualties (Breathing and Non-breathing)
  • Shock
  • CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
  • Bleeding
  • Minor injuries

The course is designed to continually assess the delegates throughout the day. On the successful completion of the course you will be issued with a certificate that is valid for 3 years and accredited by the Health and Safety executive.

It is advisable you have yearly refreshers to keep your knowledge and skills up to date.

Medical required for LGV or PCV licence application.

These may be available from your own doctor who are now reluctant to do, or make an appointment with us, this is £75.00 for first provisional and are held weekly.

We hold large stocks of forms D2 and D4 required.

You can book and pay for your course in advance if required, you will then get FREE admission to our online Theory Test facility, which will give you all the questions and answers required and will prepare you for the theory tests in advance, whilst waiting for your licence to be issued by DVLA.

Ambulance Driver Training

We now have two vehicles specifically for the purpose of training ambulance drivers and LGV C1. To Become an ambulance driver you will need a minimum of a C1 licence due to the weight of the vehicle you will be driving. When an ambulance is loaded with equipment and patients it often falls between 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes.
