Be Aware of Brokers. Don’t Pay Too Much.

LGV / HGV Brokers – Don’t pay too much or get scammed

We are NOT brokers, when you book with Driver Training Centre you deal direct with us and get value for money. Why not visit us and have a look round before commencing any training.

There are an enormous amount of brokers operating in the UK, usually you are dealing with a glossy website and an office in London who then find an operator to train you up, they do not have any vehicles and are just middlemen making money.

Brokers make good money ( almost 40% of your fee will be kept by them ) by using companies that carry out HGV training or even individuals who are struggling to find work. They therefore get a great deal as these operators will lower their prices considerably, but you wont see a discount.

The only decrease you will see is the quality of your training.

You will often pay the same sort of fee or more for your training and will be dealing with a broker who doesn’t care about the outcome of your training and will be sent to a company who is less motivated to train you as they aren’t making the sort of profit they really need to to run a successful company with good pass rates.

We have heard stories over and over again from trainees who have failed to gain their licence who were crammed in trucks 3 per instructor and generally given very poor training, sent to their test without the required experience and knowledge.

At Driver Training Centre we offer 1to1 focused driver training. That’s why our pass rates are so high. We invest in our vehicles, operating facilities and continuously strive to maintain our great reputation and pass rates.
